Kathy J's Story
Life
Hi Parracoots! We all turn 50 this year and I've celebrated with everyone I knew how to find. Been married 34 yrs. Have a daughter & a son I was PG with when you guys graduated. I also have 4 grandkids from 5 to 16 yrs old. Then I waited 30 years to get my GED. That's goin' it the hard way. I hear from class members often, & have kept a scrapbook about classmates for 34 yrs. If you've been in the news or obituaties, even your parents, I've probably got you in my scrapbook. Come to the next reunion & you can see it. I would love to hear from some classmates from Rotan. E me. Later Kathyj. Well it's 3014 and I thought I'd update. This time last year 5/18/2013 we found out the pain in Sonnys (my hubby Sonny Tull) weren't arthritis but stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. For Gods sake you guys get it checked. After hip replacement he's doing ok. We get one more year like this and then they say it won't be so good. Right now it's pretty much a back ache and fatigue. It will change and be nastier. On a lighter note all of our grandchildren have graduated except one and she's in 3rd grade. Her teacher is putting her up for the gifted ...Expand for more
classes and we are as pleased with Miss Hannah Kathryn as we can be. Savannah rode in the rodeo club and made high school rodeo finals after only knowing how to ride for about 7 months. She was rodeo queen her junior year. Eric Clay is learning to be a chef. If you ate at the Montana Steakhouse in Granbury the last couple of years you probably ate his cooking. Bailey Cheyenne is about to go to work for MEDSTAR and radiology tech school. Her class graduates this month but bailey graduate last year a year early. Ashley is about to graduate from college and gave us the most beautiful great granddaughter you've ever seen. Miss Arlie just turned 3. I still have both my parents. Daddy will be 90 on the 18th of this month and mama will be 84. I know I'm luckier than most and I appreciate that fact. Sonnys parents are both gone and I sure miss both of them. I work for the Tarrant County Sheriffs Dept and I love my job. I wish I had gone to work there 30 years ago. I'm not thrilled with those black wool class a uniforms in July and August but it's worth it to work with such great people. As my aunt cissy used to say, nuff said for now. Kathyj
